You see a cute guy at the other end of the bar, then casually say to your girlfriend “he’s totally hot”. As he walks towards you, he smiles.
CRAP! He has yellow teeth, and breath so bad you can smell it. And he’s 7 feet from your bar stool. Instead of being cute, you now consider him to be a DOG!
DON’T LET THAT HAPPEN TO YOUR PUP!
The American Kennel Club offers the following tips to keep your dog’s breath smelling fresh, and his teeth clean and healthy.
- Brush Your Dog’s Teeth. This is an excellent way to prevent plaque buildup. Be sure the toothbrush and toothpaste are made specifically for dogs.
- Dog Treats. Often contain ingredients that freshen breath.
- Dog Chews. Many all-natural chews contain enzymes that help promote dental health.
- Dog Tooth Wipes. This material can be rubbed against your dog’s teeth to help prevent plaque.
